The second talk in the Clinical and Translational Science Collaborative’s Research Equity, Accessibility, Diversity, and Inclusion (READI) Community Engagement Series will be held Tuesday, April 4, from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom.
The topic of this session will be “Equity in Engagement: Building Relationships with Community Health Workers to Advance Research.”
Attendees will:
- Learn about what community health workers (CHW) are and do;
- Evaluate scope of practice challenges with incorporating CHWs in research; and
- Assess opportunities to improve the integration of CHWs into research.
