Health Engagement and Accessibility

The Orchestrating Multifaceted Engineering for Growing Artificial Joints (OMEGA) Engagement and Accessibility team aims to reduce health disparities and improve health outcomes in all individuals by emphasizing the importance of fairness and accessibility in healthcare throughout the entirety of this project.

The OMEGA Engagement and Accessibility team focuses on building relationships with the community through various activities including local events, listening sessions, and the Engagement Advisory Committee (EAC). The diverse perspectives and experiences gathered from these activities will be helpful to bridge gaps in healthcare and improve osteoarthritis outcomes for all communities and populations.

Engagement Advisory Committee

The EAC is composed of community leaders, influencers, and residents who are committed to advancing health engagement and accessibility to promote better health outcomes. The members possess a wide array of skills and expertise related to osteoarthritis, community engagement and advocacy.
