Ava Keresztesy

AmeriCorps Member

Ava Keresztesy (she/her) is an AmeriCorps member working with the Dean of Students Office here at CWRU in the Student Resource Centers corps. She has worked with the Dean of Students mostly through the CWRU Community Pantry. Her service is dedicated to expanding what resources the office can provide to meet students' basic needs so they can succeed. You can find her in the pantry on Monday and Friday afternoons. A bit about her: She is currently a second year civil engineering student in the environmental concentration. She is northeast Ohio born and raised (she was born at Rainbow Babies on Adelbert!) and grew up visisting the museums here in University Circle and exploring the Geauga Park District closer to home. She is very passionate about sustainability and environmental justice and loves that she can bring that passion to her service with the Dean of Students Office. When she is not in the pantry or in the office, you can find her spinning flags in the color guard at football games, working on the next Footlighters production in Eldred, or enjoying a pastry at Luna.
