The CWRU Office of Energy & Sustainability is looking for undergraduate students to become Sustainability Ambassadors for the next academic year. Sustainability Ambassadors are the Office of Energy & Sustainability's student outreach arm. Students work on teams assigned to different sustainability-related topic areas.
Ambassadors organize our annual energy contest, hold Annual Arbor Day events and complete the annual application to be a Tree Campus USA school, lead transportation surveys, help organize our Sustainability Office events, and many additional initiatives and projects.
Other past projects/events include:
- extensive commuting survey for our campus
- free cycle events,
- spearheaded meetings to encourage student group collaboration
- jeans recycling collection
- simple energy audits on campus buildings
- micro-bead swap events
- bike powered smoothie making
- Recycle Regatta boat float participation
