The Office of Energy & Sustainability is excited to announce the winners of the annual CWRU Unplugged Res Hall Energy Contest: Phi Sigma Rho and House 6 & 7 with 89 points each! As a reward for reducing their energy consumption the most, every resident in the building will be receiving a CWRU tote bag, water bottle, and free Mitchell’s ice cream scoop! Over the course of the five week competition, students living in CWRU Residence Halls and Greek Houses tried to reduce their energy usage – points were awarded to halls whose residents signed a sustainability pledge for reducing waste or attended events hosted by the OES, as well as reducing energy consumption of course. Thank you to everyone who participated, CWRU’s Climate Action Plan pledges to reach climate neutrality by 2050 but your actions count now! We can’t wait to see you again next year for CWRU Unplugged, and congratulations to the residents of Phi Sigma Rho and House 6 & 7!
