Black Environmental Leaders Co-Director Speaking at the Annual Big Green Event 3/7

Join the CWRU Office of Energy & Sustainability to celebrate, network, and learn from sustainability doers at Case Western Reserve University, Tuesday, March 7, 4:30-6:30, Tink Ballroom A. 

The agenda includes:

  • A keynote presentation by SeMia Bray, Black Environmental Leaders Association
    • SeMia Bray headshot

      SeMia Bray,serves as co-director of the Black Environmental Leaders Association and  is a strategic business consultant and thought leader, with a passion for cross-sector knowledge exchange and facilitating real conversations that engage leaders in innovative thinking. For nearly 30 years, she has provided consulting services in the private, manufacturing, and non-profit sectors.  A veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard, SeMia honorably served our country for six years. Her work, focuses on the intersection of Equity, Democracy, and the Environment allows her to serve on numerous committees, task forces, and coalitions ranging from Black Environmental Leaders Association to Sierra Club Ohio to the Ohio Climate Justice Fund
       

  • A series of 3-minute lightning round presentations will be delivered by sustainability-related groups, clubs, departments, centers, researchers and faculty members. 
     
  • A CWRU Office of Energy & Sustainability update
