Shanelle Smith is a friend of our CWRU Office for Sustainability. She's been a Green Bag Lunch speaker and a colleague both through her former work with the county and now through the Trust for Public Land. Smith is a MBA student at Weatherhead and recently wrote a life changing  tweet. You may have read on the Daily article, that she requested a day shadowing Lisa Jackson, Apple's  VP of environment, policy and social initiatives & former administrator of the U.S. EPA. Jackson obliged and then offered to become Smith's mentor. Shortly after, Jackson nominated Smith for Grist's 50 Fixers and Smith won the distinction. Congrats, Shanelle!
