Igor Tutelman graduated from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management this spring with his bachelor’s in accounting.
In Igor’s second year at CWRU, a graduate of his fraternity was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer. Igor used his business know-how to build a fundraising plan, raising more than $10,000 that semester to help pay his friend’s hospital bills and support the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
This fall, Igor will return to CWRU to earn his master's in accounting. He’s already lined up the step after that—he has a full-time offer from PwC.
Recently asked about his CWRU experience and how he would describe the Weatherhead business community to prospective students, Igor took the words right out of my mouth:
Our professors are incredibly intelligent and carry plenty of accolades. You’ve probably seen them on the news or read about them in a news article. They are wonderfully passionate about us succeeding, individually and collectively. Our campus is beautiful and positioned next to a great city with countless job and internship opportunities. And, most importantly, our campus is a tight-knit community. We all want to see each other succeed, and we all care for one another through all the fun and difficult times that college has to offer. I am incredibly glad I came here and I know you will be, too.
