Supported by a grant from the National Humanities Center's "Responsible Artificial Intelligence Curriculum Design Project," we designed, built, and now regularly a new undergraduate course, "Responsible AI: Cultivating a Just and Sustainable Future through Data Citizenship," which critically examines the role of data in the AI lifecycle and develops concrete socio-technical practices and dispositions to enable greater participation in the construction of a more just and sustainable AI ecosystem.
