Doctor Matthew Moorman is a General Surgeon with subspecialty fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care and Medical Education. He is an Associate Professor of Surgery at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and is the Chief of the Division of Trauma, Critical Care, and Acute Care Surgery at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio.
Prior to entering healthcare, Dr. Moorman served as an F-16 pilot. He has deployed multiple times, participating in combat flying operations in the middle east and during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.
He is now a 30-year veteran of the United States Air Force and Ohio Air National Guard, currently serving as the Commander of the 178th Medical Group in the rank of full Colonel.
