Tyler Fond is a second year MBA student specializing in Entrepreneurship and Finance. He is an alumni of Youngstown State University, having majored in International Business and Entrepreneurship.
After he graduated from Youngstown State, Tyler opened his own full line furniture store which he operated until selling and returning to acquire his MBA. During his time running his store he developed skills directing teams, implementing business strategies, and revamping current processes. He has worked as a strategic consultant analyzing and enhancing business incubator spaces. Tyler has also worked in the renewable energies space where he appraised and valuated solar and wind generation projects to determine tax credit eligibility for investors.
As an MBA student, Tyler founded the Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition Club at Case Western Reserve University which teaches and encourages students about different paths to business ownership outside of being a founder.
Tyler leads the strategy and operationalization of the Cray Center for Venture Creation and the Veale Incubator, as well as helping support incubator tenants.
