Anthony Peebles is director of National Development and Diversity Initiatives for Case Western Reserve University. Peebles was previously director of Diversity and Corporate Relations, responsible for the identification, cultivation and solicitation of gifts, grants and contracts from alumni, community partners and local and national corporations with a focus on providing support for the university’s diversity Initiatives.
Tony has 30 years experience in financial services, civic and not for profit leadership. He began his career with Ameritrust Corporation as a manager in retail and small business banking. He then joined Fifth Third Bank and served as commercial line of business manager for Public Finance, focusing on large commercial financing for the public, not for profit, municipal and higher education sectors.
Before joining Case Western Reserve University, Tony was a financial planner with Skylight Financial Group where he advised entrepreneurs and family owned businesses on retirement, business succession planning and wealth management. He also served as Chief Operating Officer of the Pinkney-Perry Insurance Agency and was Interim Chief Executive Officer of the Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council.
Tony is currently a member of the Minority Business Growth Committee of the Greater Cleveland Commission on Economic Inclusion. He also serves on the Leadership Roundtable of the University School Alumni Council and is Chair of the Finance & Audit Committee for the Shaker Heights Board of Education.
Tony is holds a BA in Public Policy from Duke University and an MBA from Baldwin Wallace University.
