Human-Centered Convergent Research

As the prospect of technologically augmented experiences continues to shape our world and humans and technology become intertwined, ethical and philosophical questions on the implications for humans are bound to arise. At the Human Fusions Institute, that’s where HELPPS comes in.

Short for “Human, Ethical, Legal, Phenomenological, Psychological and Social Impacts”, HELPPS is a committee of diverse researchers dedicated to the following mission: Understand the human experience in relation to technology in order to positively shape the future where the boundaries between humans and technology are less distinct, and where human-tech fusions can benefit individuals, groups, and society at large.
