Ongoing support from local and national organizations
- The Ralph T. and Esther L. Warburton Foundation has pledged $3 million toward scholarships for students from the dental medicine, medicine and nursing schools.
- The KeyBank Foundation supports interprofessional education through two programs that received $2 million in funding from the foundation in 2015. The KeyBank Health Education Program supports interprofessional learning and clinical experiences for students in the dental medicine, medicine, nursing and social work schools. The foundation has additionally given separate funds that provide scholarships to students at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University through the KeyBank Minority Medical Student Fellowship program.
- The Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation has supported interprofessional efforts at Case Western Reserve on multiple occasions over several years, allowing teams from the medical, nursing, dental medicine and nursing schools to create coursework on interprofessional education and develop interprofessional clinical opportunities like the Student Run Health Clinic.
