Each year, the Graduate Student Council (GSC) allocates money towards a professional development fund accessible to Case Western Reserve University graduate students. Students have the opportunity to receive up to $300 in reimbursements. In the past, the fund has typically been awarded to subsidize conference fees, travel and lodging to conferences and interviews for internships, jobs, and residencies. Due to COVID-19, GSC is refraining from using the fund for travel-related expenses for the spring 2021 semester. Instead, GSC will focus on funding virtual conference fees, virtual workshop fees, application fees, and other forms of online professional development.
Applications close on Monday, Feb. 15, at 6 p.m. For spring 2021 funding, students may apply for reimbursement for any experience occurring between November 21, 2020 to May 7, 2021.
The application will be hosted exclusively on CampusGroups, and will be linked on GSC's website under the "Forms" tab. Please send questions to gscinfo@case.edu. Please keep in mind that further details on the full process will be listed in the application.
