New program seeks volunteers to promote healthy living to the community

Primary Care Progress (PCP) is an interprofessional student group dedicated to promoting health in the community. Its new program, “Just Walk, a Walk with a Doc,” will promote a free monthly walk with community members, health care providers, and health professional students to encourage healthy living through movement.

Volunteers can help make this walk successful by joining the walk and talking to community members about health. The first walk is Saturday, Oct. 2, from 10 to 11 a.m., at Zelma Watson George Recreation Center (3155 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., Cleveland, OH 44104). The walk will take place indoors or outdoors, depending on the weather. Learn more about the program.
