The memoir recounts McBride’s experiences as a transgender woman fighting for equality.
McBride, a spokesperson for the Human Rights Campaign and current state senator candidate in Delaware, made headlines in 2016 when she became the first openly transgender person to address a major party convention.
The book will be discussed over two dates: Sunday, July 25, at 2 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 22, at 2 p.m.
