Virtual book club will discuss memoir about transgender identity

The Diversity and Inclusion Committee of the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing will host two summer book club meetings to discuss Tomorrow Will Be Different: Love, Loss, and The Fight for Trans Equality by Sarah McBride. The memoir recounts McBride’s experiences as a transgender woman fighting for equality.

McBride, a spokesperson for the Human Rights Campaign and current state senator candidate in Delaware, made headlines in 2016 when she became the first openly transgender person to address a major party convention.

The book will be discussed over two dates: Sunday, July 25, at 2 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 22, at 2 p.m.
