Members of the community are invited to register for MetroHealth Medical Center's Institute for H.O.P.E. Seminar Series webinar, “Community Health Equity Through an Academic Lens,” on Monday, June 7, from noon to 1 p.m.
Guest speaker Evelyn Figueroa, professor of Clinical Family and Community Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine, will share her experiences as an academic family physician and how she was able to develop community-centered resources for her patients and the larger community. The session will help clinicians improve their skills at locating patient-centered community resources in order to promote wellness and health equity.
