About Us

Welcome

The Mt. Sinai Skills and Simulation Center (MSSSC) at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) Health Education Campus, is an education and training facility focused on creative, innovative continuous learning for healthcare providers and professionals at all levels. The MSSSC partners with CWRU School of Medicine, Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, CWRU School of Dental Medicine and Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and its affiliates to incorporate simulation learning into its healthcare curricula. Our objectives are to improve provider performance and communication, enhance patient safety, and reduce errors in clinical practice.

Since opening in 2006, the MSSSC has partnered with other medical schools, universities, area medical centers, professional organizations, and first responders to become a major resource for simulation education in Northeast Ohio. Our center continues to build a strong multidisciplinary and inter-professional approach to learning by providing interactive simulation activities, assessment, training, and research for a diverse population of learners.
