The Medical School Admissions Committee at Case Western Reserve University excitedly partners with the following SOM programs:
- Master of Science in Applied Anatomy
- Master of Science in Medical Physiology
- Master of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology of Disease
- Post-baccalaureate Readiness Instruction for (Bio)Medical Education program
Requirements
We guarantee interviews to CWRU University Program MD applicants from the above programs meeting the following benchmarks:
- Undergraduate cGPA ≥ 3.4
- CWRU Post-bacc Program GPA (visit post-bacc program websites for details)
- MCAT score ≥ 515
- Demonstrated highest levels of personal and professional conduct
Note: Eligible MD applicants qualifying for the linkage agreement must have a fully completed and submitted application by October 15, and interviews must be completed no later than December 15.
This opportunity is exclusively for students who haven't previously interviewed with the CWRU Medical Students Admissions Committee (MSAC). However, the MSAC may interview applicants across multiple cycles based on competitiveness.
Post-Baccalaureate Program Linkage Agreements
The CWRU School of Medicine University Program maintains selective linkage agreements with distinguished post-baccalaureate premedical programs, including Goucher College Post-Baccalaureate Program and Bryn Mawr Post-Baccalaureate Program. These agreements provide a streamlined admissions process for qualified students who demonstrate strong academic potential and a clear commitment to our institution.
SOFtoSOM Partnership
We are proud to partner with SOFtoSOM to provide a streamlined pathway for U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF) veterans transitioning into medicine. This linkage agreement recognizes the exceptional leadership, resilience, and unique life experiences that SOFtoSOM Scholars bring to the medical profession. Through this partnership, qualified S2S Scholars receive a guaranteed interview to join our incoming class.
