Dr. Carman is a diplomat of the American Board of Vascular Medicine. She serves as Director of the Vascular Medicine program, as well as the Center for Wound Care at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and the Anticoagulation Monitoring Service. Her clinical research interests include thrombophilia, therapies for venous thromboembolism and vascular laboratory assessment. She plays an active role in the vascular surgery educational and clinical programs.
