Apply for a Google Cloud micro-grant
Are you looking to take your research or class project to the next level?
Case Western Reserve University recently announced the launch of a new micro-grant program for Google Cloud Platform (GCP), which provides access to high-performance computing, data and AI tools without a need for personal servers.
Through this software, users also have the ability to:
- Run complex simulations and data analysis at speed;
- Securely store and manage massive datasets; and
- Use cutting-edge tools to build and train models.
Designed to help students, faculty and researchers better leverage cloud technology, selected applicants of this program will receive $100 in credits to use CWRU’s secure, private Google Cloud Platform to experiment, build and innovate without the worry of upfront infrastructure costs.
Members of the Clinical and Translational Science Collaborative of Northern Ohio working on qualifying projects will receive an additional $100 in credits.
Whether you’re working on a data-heavy research paper and complex engineering project, or simply want to learn cloud skills in high demand in the job market, those interested in this program are encouraged to apply now through May 1. Applications will be reviewed and awarded on a rolling basis.
