The Office of the Provost and Google are partnering to offer an AI Micro-grant program for the faculty, staff, and students of Case Western Reserve University.
Grant recipients will receive access to the Google Cloud Platform and Google AI Studio services, API keys, and a $100 budget for use of these services. The Clinical and Translational Science Collaborative (CTSC) is offering additional support to their members.
Application submission runs from January 5th, 2026 to March 1st, 2026
Google Cloud Platform and Google AI Studio services will run from January 5th, 2026 to May 1st, 2026.
OUR GOAL is to help students, faculty, and staff in the school experiment with AI tools and models beyond the ai.case.edu chatbot interfaces. We also want to gather information about"
- what you found helpful about using the AI tool;
- where you got stuck in
- what it would cost to deliver the services you imagine.
To apply, YOU are required to:
- Express how access to the Google Cloud will allow you to develop your skills or ideas beyond the services of ai.case.edu
While using the program, YOU are required to:
- Use the service to make a specific application or service
- Provide a progress report of your experience
After you finish the program, YOU are required to:
- Supply us with a short-write-up
- Complete a survey of you experience.
If you are a student, you must identify a faculty or staff sponsor.
