Experiential education at Case Western Reserve University is an innovative approach to education that emphasizes hands-on training and includes internships, practicums, co-ops, research, volunteering and studying abroad. As part of the student experience, we encourage all students to engage in some form of experiential learning. There’s even a central database online where you can discover opportunities sponsored by CWRU that match your goals and interests.
We will continue to introduce you to experiential education in this week’s newsletter and during Discover Days programming. You will have the chance to meet representatives from various offices and discover internships, research, co-ops, study abroad, service learning and more. Many of our orientation leaders have participated in experiential education first-hand and are excited to share their stories with you during Discover Days.
