As assistant provost for strategic initiatives, Hauser provides expert advice and strategic direction on a wide range of issues and opportunities related to the university's educational offerings and administrative functioning. She also serves as the executive director of the President's Leadership Leadership Development Program, a role she has held since 2022.
Prior to joining the Office of the Provost, Hauser served in a variety of research and student-facing administration roles at Kent State University, Northeastern University, and Bowling Green State University. She has worked in both academic and student affairs, including academic and career advising and undergraduate student leadership. Her research expertise is on college students, with an emphasis on identity development and leadership development.
A former K-12 teacher, she is passionate about student engagement and learning while helping students discover and articulate who they are and make intentional plans for their future through serving others and contributing to the public good.
