Associate Provost for Academic Affairs

The Associate Provost for Academic Affairs provides leadership for special projects in support of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and Academic & Faculty Affairs.  The position oversees the university’s extensive preparations for the Comprehensive Review by the Higher Learning Commission (to take place during the 2024-2025 academic year) and will manage the site-visit and any follow-up for this review.   In addition, the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs will develop and oversee the implementation of strategic projects designed to improve the overall academic experience of CWRU students at all levels.

Associate Provost for Graduate Education

The Associate Provost for Graduate Education provides leadership for the School of Graduate Studies and supports the Vice Provost for Graduate Education & Academic & Faculty Affairs.  The position oversees the development and review of graduate and professional degree programs to ensure quality and effectiveness of all graduate programs.  In addition, the Associate Provost for Graduate Education serves as the university’s representative for the Ohio Department of Education’s Chancellor’s Committee for Graduate Studies.  This position leads the development of proposals to the NSF Alliances for Graduate Education and the Professoriate Program.  Additionally, the Associate Provost for Graduate Education manages other academic and faculty responsibilities for the Office of Graduate Studies and, in general, promotes excellence in teaching, research and service
