To Our Faculty and Staff,
We want to share an update with you on the timeline and next steps for our faculty and staff engagement survey, which many of you completed last month.
First, thank you for your participation in the survey. Your responses play a critical role in shaping our workplace moving forward.
As you know, we partnered with the Gallup Organization because of its deep expertise in employee engagement surveys, particularly in higher education. Gallup’s survey questions—which we used for our survey—are finely honed and have been utilized by many other colleges and universities. Additionally, Gallup’s database of responses from others will provide us with additional insights on how we can better support our faculty and staff.
At this time, Gallup has recorded your confidential responses and is tabulating, analyzing and reporting our overall and department-level results. We expect to share these results with you near or by the end of July.
Soon after, we will form a core committee—which will include representation from faculty and staff across the university—to work with schools and departments in developing action steps that will improve engagement across our workplace.
