NIH R13 Grant Awarded for Sociology Workshop

The College of Arts and Sciences Department of Sociology has been awarded an NIH R13 conference grant for a one-day workshop immediately prior to the Society for Longitudinal and Life Course Studies conference on the CWRU campus this weekend. This is the first time the conference is being held in North America.

The focus is on the growing network of sibling studies with funding for 20-25 travel grants of $1,000 each, with the majority of these guests representing underrepresented minorities in science. Thanks to sociology’s Jessica Kelley and Dale Dannifer for hosting the conference here at CWRU and for their work in receiving these grant funds.
