“Religious Perspectives on Reproductive Health” panel discussion

The Reproductive Health Task Force is undertaking a speaker series to engage in discussions on various aspects of reproductive health.

Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to join a panel of experts as they explore diverse religious perspectives on reproduction and reproductive health.

Held today (Oct. 31) from noon to 1 p.m. at the Linsalata Alumni Center, this event will feature a panel of faculty experts from the Department of Religious Studies. Panelists will examine the much broader terrain of religious beliefs and practices surrounding reproduction, including sexuality, the body, ethical obligations, and the divine. Panelists also will challenge the presumed secular/religious divide around reproduction, demonstrating the varied stances that religious people take and how those positions relate to their cultural contexts.
