Support the Greater Cleveland Community through Charity Choice

To the Faculty, Staff and Postdocs of Case Western Reserve University,

For more than 15 years, Case Western Reserve University faculty, staff and postdocs have joined together to support the Greater Cleveland community.

Last year, the Charity Choice Campaign raised $58,000 dollars from 118 donors. This year, we have another chance to do more good in our community. Every donation made can help improve the lives of our friends, neighbors and coworkers.

If you are unsure where to donate, suggested agencies are below:

  • United Way of Greater Cleveland is mobilizing and empowering Greater Cleveland residents to help break the cycle of poverty. United Way seeks out the community’s most critical problems and works to solve them by connecting people, dollars and services.
  • Greater Cleveland Community Shares addresses the root causes of social problems facing our neighborhoods, our community and our region. Member organizations provide education, promote health care, protect children and women, advance home ownership, provide job training and employment, build neighborhoods and work to end discrimination.
  • EarthShare has engaged thousands of individuals and raised millions of dollars to support Ohio's environmental legacy. EarthShare's nonprofit partners are committed to solving our planet's most urgent issues like climate change, environmental justice, access to public lands, sustainable food systems, wildlife conservation, clean water and so much more.

You may also consider donating to any other independent 501(c)(3) organization of your choice—through payroll deduction or check—as part of this campaign.

If you are ready to give, log in to HCM, select the Payroll tile and select Charity Choice (or navigate through this donation page). Donations may be one time or over multiple months, and can be made via payroll deduction or check.
