Sara is a research assistant at The Center on Poverty and Community Development at Case Western Reserve University. She is currently completing her PhD in Social Psychology at the University of Valencia in Spain. Her research focuses on adolescent attitudes towards dating violence.
She earned an undergraduate degree in Education from the University of Granada in Spain (2016) and a master’s degree in Perinatal and Infant Psychology and Psychopathology (2018).
Sara has made significant contributions to the fields of violence prevention, youth intervention programs, the design and validation of scales to measure attitudes toward dating violence, and social psychology. Her work has been published in academic journals and book chapters, and she has presented at international conferences.
In addition to her research, she has experience teaching various courses, including Work Psychology, Social Work, and Social Psychology. She has also received grants to develop educational innovation projects, such as incorporating artificial intelligence into the classroom, implementing gamification techniques for social science and psychology courses. The overarching goal of these projects was to enhance student engagement and improve learning outcomes.
