Currently-Enrolled Case Western Reserve University Students
Students who are already enrolled at Case Western Reserve University register for summer courses the same way they do for a fall or spring semester. Find out more about registering for classes and explore enrollment dates and deadlines for summer session 2026.
Summer registration opens on March 30 and continues until the add/drop date for that session.
Visiting Students
High School Students
Current advanced high school students who are Ohio residents may enroll in Case Western Reserve University courses through Ohio’s College Credit Plus (CCP) program. For more information about courses and applying, consult our CCP website, contact the Office of Undergraduate Admission at 216.368.4450, or email Senior Associate Director of Undergraduate Admission, Rae Ann DiBaggio.
Undergraduate Visiting Students
Students from other colleges or universities may complete a Visiting Undergraduate Student Application. Applications are reviewed on a rolling, date-received basis and must be submitted at least two weeks before the start of the term in which the student plans to enroll. Graduate Visiting Students
Graduate students from other institutions should consult the Information for Non-Degree Seeking Students page, or contact the Office of Graduate Studies at gradstudies@case.edu. Prospective visiting professional students (in law, medicine, dental medicine, nursing, or social work) should contact the appropriate individual school’s registrar directly for more information.
Registering for Summer Courses as a Visiting Student
Once admitted for summer session, finalize your course selections and choose one of the following:
- Register online: Login to SIS to enroll in your chosen courses. Find step-by-step instructions.
OR
- Register in person:
- Complete your course selection form on page 2 of the application, and have your advising hold released by the appropriate dean’s office.
- Bring all materials to the Office of the Registrar, Sears Building Room 220.
- Please note: even if registering in person, you may not register earlier than the date assigned to you in SIS. Learn more about when you can register.
Once your registration is submitted (online or in person) review your final schedule carefully. It is your responsibility to confirm accuracy and promptly make any needed changes.
Withdrawing From a Course
If you are registered and wish to withdraw, you must contact Undergraduate Advising Support (ugadvisingsupport@case.edu) for next steps.
A 100% refund is available only through the first day of classes; refund amounts decrease after that date.
