Stephanie Corbett

Director of Energy, Sustainability, and the University Farm

Stephanie Strong Corbett has worked in the Cleveland and Northeast Ohio sustainability and environmental community since 2001. Currently she is the Case Western Reserve University director of sustainability, working towards the creation of a carbon-netural, flourishing campus.

Corbett has served as the sustainability manager at Cuyahoga Community College, program director at Entrepreneurs for Sustainability (E4S), a Northeast Ohio non-profit focused on sustainability as a business strategy, and as the clean fuels program manager at the Earth Day Coalition.

Corbett is currently a board member for the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council and serves on the Sustainable Cleveland 2019 Stewardship Council.

A passionate practitioner of living sustainably, Corbett teaches a course at her alma-mater entitled Healthy and Sustainable Living in Northeast Ohio. She has studied biomimicry in the rainforest of Peru with Janine Benyus and is a devoted admirer of sustainable business pioneer Ray Anderson and author Barbara Kingsolver.

A 1997 graduate of Baldwin-Wallace University, she resides in Fairview Park with her husband, aka Chief Recycler, two daughters, and two cats.
