Get ready to unplug and make a difference with the Office of Energy & Sustainability’s electrifying competition, CWRU Unplugged! This contest challenges residence halls and Greek houses to reduce their electricity consumption and promote sustainability. Starting from November 3 and running through December 7, participants can accumulate points by achieving the greatest reduction in electricity usage. Live electricity dashboards provide data to track your progress. CWRU Unplugged also encourages students to rally their peers and gather the greatest number of pledge signers per hall or house. By taking the Sustainability Pledge, you're not only contributing to a greener future but also earning valuable points for your team.
The residence hall or Greek house with the highest combined points will take home fantastic rewards, including stylish water bottles, eco-friendly tote bags, and Mitchell's ice cream. Join the movement, take the pledge, and power your way to victory in CWRU Unplugged! It's not just a competition; it's a commitment to sustainability and a chance to win amazing prizes while making a positive impact on our environment.
