Alex Romanowski has worked in professional horticulture for both landscape design companies and public parks and gardens on the non-profit side. Recently he has worked as a horticulture manager for Madison Square park, a highly visited public park in New York City. During his time at the organization he helped to implement horticultural excellence, build plant collections, and to bring the park to a world-class standard. Working within the organizations strategic plan for good park stewardship, he also worked to institute many sustainable value propositions for the organization and its patrons and stakeholders including an effective park-wide recycling program and a tree succession plan. He is hoping to use his time at Weatherhead to increase his business competencies at while learning to recognize larger opportunities for sustainable value creation. He is also strongly interested in finance and entrepreneurship.
