John Turner is a 2017 graduate of Case Western Reserve University with a B.A. in both Economics and Environmental Studies and a minor in Geology. While an undergraduate, he worked with the Sierra Club, where he focused on the Club's goal of eliminating fossil fuels from United States' electrical grid by 2030 and all sectors by 2050. He also worked to involve more students and youth in the organization. John served on the executive committee of the Club's Ohio Chapter for three years and currently serves on the Executive Committee for the Sierra Student Coalition. In 2014 he was a delegate for the Sierra Club at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change's Conference of Parties in Lima, Peru. John is interested in clean energy and finance, especially the financing of clean energy. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, traveling, and getting outdoors.
