In Fall 2025, the Writing Program established the Writing Program Research Group (WPRG), a small team of undergraduate researchers to help us design, collect, and interpret information about writing & writers. Faculty-led projects vary from year to year and include small groups of undergraduates representing diverse majors (STEM, social-sciences, and humanities). WPRG members conduct humanistic research (focus groups, interviews, literature reviews, surveys) into aspects of the writing process.
Our first project (in AY25-26) involved assessing undergraduate attitudes and use of generative artificial intelligence. We will accept applications annually in the late summer. To apply, please complete this Google Form.
