University Health & Counseling Services (UH&CS) mission is to enhance the well-being, development, and academic success of our diverse student body through integrated medical and mental health services, public health outreach, and collaboration across the university and beyond to promote a healthy campus.
Visits to UH&CS are free to all enrolled CWRU undergraduate, graduate and professional students. Our website provides the most up-to-date information on hours, services, programs and how to make an appointment. UH&CS provides 24/7 on call numbers so students can receive assistance at any time. For our nurse advice line call 216.368.2450 and for our counselor on-call line call 216.368.5872. Students can also access 24/7 virtual counseling support through Talk Now on cwru.care.

In addition to our on-campus counseling support, UH&CS offers CWRU Care, a 24/7 mental telehealth care service that undergraduate, graduate and professional students can access from wherever they are.
Through CWRU Care, students can talk to a licensed provider via smartphone or any web-enabled device. Licensed providers are available to offer mental health support via telephone or secure video visits. Students can visit cwru.care for more information.
We encourage all students and parents to download the CWRU Reach Out app in order to have quick access to all campus, community and national mental health resources. CWRU's Reach Out app provides quick access to support and resources, such as crisis hotlines, guidance for helping a friend in need coping skills and services offered on campus and in the community. Just search “CWRU Reach Out” in your app store.
We encourage everyone to stay connected to UH&CS. Follow us on instagram @cwrustudentwellness and Facebook at facebook.com/cwrustudentwellness.
