Become a certified team coach

The Office of Interprofessional and Interdisciplinary Education and Research is offering certified team coach training to faculty and advanced graduate-level students. The coaches will have the opportunity to coach student teams in Collaborative Practice I (CPI), Case Western Reserve’s required interprofessional service-learning course for health profession and social work students.

The eight-hour coach training will be provided through several monthly seminars this fall at times that accommodate the participants’ availability. Coaching will be provided to the CPI student teams on Wednesday afternoons in mid-January through early February from 3 to 5 p.m.

The new coaches will complete their certification requirements once they participate in the student team coaching sessions. Certified coaches can provide independent team coaching. All costs related to certification will be paid by the Office of Interprofessional and Interdisciplinary Education and Research.

If you are interested in learning more about this coaching opportunity or would like to participate in the training and coaching opportunities, please contact Tyler Reimschisel, MD, founding associate provost, at txr181@case.edu.
