Cancer researcher to give final Goldbag Research Seminar of fall semester 

The final meeting of the Goldbag Research Seminar Series for fall 2021 will feature a presentation by Susan Mazanec, assistant professor at Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing and a nurse scientist at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center. Mazanec’s talk is titled “Complex Clinical Interventions: Navigating Fidelity Issues.”

Join the virtual meeting Monday, Nov. 22, from noon to 1 p.m. Recordings of previous Goldbag seminars can be found online. 

In Mazanec’s latest research project, she and her team are testing a psychoeducational intervention that incorporates simulation to train caregivers in skills needed during and after radiation treatment.

The Goldbag Research Seminar Series is hosted on the second and fourth Mondays of each month during the academic year.
