Collaborative Practice I student team chosen for poster presentation

A Collaborative Practice I student team presented a poster presentation at the NEXUS Summit, titled “Engagement Plan for Increasing Representation in Biomedical Research: A Community Collaboration Between Case Western Reserve University Health Science Graduate Students, Cleveland Clinic BioRepository and the Fairfax Neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio.” The abstract was peer-reviewed and selected for NEXUS Summit, a virtual and in-person conference hosted through the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education. 

The team is composed of Case Western Reserve University students Rana Damra, a second-year Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology student; Christian Hecht, a second-year medical student; and Scott Perkins, a second-year student at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.
