Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing students present at conference

Seven students from Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing’s Women’s Health Nursing and Nurse-Midwifery programs gave poster presentations at the American College of Nurse-Midwives Ohio conference on Feb. 4.

Congratulations to:

  • Maimuna Bah, who presented on female genital mutilation/cutting;
  • Ashley Chavez-White, who gave insights on psychiatric medication and the female libido;
  • Mikayla Choulijan, whose poster topic was the effects of climate change on women’s menstrual health;
  • Emily DiGiovanni, who shared research on over-the-counter contraception;
  • Bethany Rudy, who presented on fertility awareness-based methods;
  • Ruth Schulz, whose poster was on treatments for premenstrual syndrome and premenstrual dysphoric disorder; and
  • Melissa Zahorsky, who shared insights on in vitro fertilization.
