Seven students from Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing’s Women’s Health Nursing and Nurse-Midwifery programs gave poster presentations at the American College of Nurse-Midwives Ohio conference on Feb. 4.
Congratulations to:
- Maimuna Bah, who presented on female genital mutilation/cutting;
- Ashley Chavez-White, who gave insights on psychiatric medication and the female libido;
- Mikayla Choulijan, whose poster topic was the effects of climate change on women’s menstrual health;
- Emily DiGiovanni, who shared research on over-the-counter contraception;
- Bethany Rudy, who presented on fertility awareness-based methods;
- Ruth Schulz, whose poster was on treatments for premenstrual syndrome and premenstrual dysphoric disorder; and
- Melissa Zahorsky, who shared insights on in vitro fertilization.
