The Ohio Cardiovascular and Diabetes Health Collaborative (Cardi-OH) invites primary care physicians and other healthcare professionals to attend a statewide webinar, titled “Heart Health and the Science of Sleep” on Wednesday, May 24, at noon.
Keynote speaker Jennifer Molano, MD, associate professor at University of Cincinnati College of Medicine will discuss how to:
- Identify the cardiovascular implications of sleep conditions,
- Screen patients at risk for sleep conditions, and
- Counsel patients on how to optimize sleep health.
One continuing medical education credit will be offered at no cost.

Cardi-OH is a statewide program with investigators across Ohio’s medical schools based within the Center for Clinical Investigation under Community Health Programs at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Founded in 2017, the mission of Cardi-OH is to improve cardiovascular and diabetes health outcomes and eliminate disparities in Ohio’s Medicaid population.
