Learn creative problem-solving, systems thinking and cross-functional collaboration at simulation and workshop

The Office of Interprofessional and Interdisciplinary Education and Research will host a “Friday Night at the ER” workshop April 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Samson Pavilion of the Health Education Campus.

This engaging simulation will create an opportunity for individuals and teams to learn how to break down siloed thinking and apply interdependent and interprofessional problem-solving and systems thinking in everyday practices.

The workshop is not solely about the delivery of healthcare and is not limited to those who work in the field. While “Friday Night at the ER” simulates a day in a hospital setting, it focuses on collaborating across functional boundaries to achieve system goals, making it an applicable simulation tool for any industry.

If you believe you or your team would benefit from refining your teamwork in innovation, creative problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, distributed leadership skills and systems thinking, then this simulation is for you! If you ever wondered how your team can be more effective in stressful situations, this simulation will also provide that opportunity.

Join us April 5 for a fun, engaging and challenging experience. The cost is $50 per person, and breakfast will be provided. Space is limited, so sign up soon by visiting CampusGroups.
