Nobel Prize winner Thomas C. Südhof, MD, will deliver the Louis A. Bloomfield Memorial Lecture at Case Western Reserve University on March 13, titled “The molecular machinery of synapse organization.”
Südhof won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2013, along with colleagues James Rothman and Randy Schekman. He is an investigator at Howard Hughes Medical Institute and the Avram Goldstein Professor in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Physiology at Stanford University School of Medicine.
The in-person event will take place on Monday, March 13, at 4 p.m. in the Wolstein Research Building Auditorium (WRB 1413). A reception in the lobby will follow the lecture.
