Nourishing Power Network is accepting applications to its food system six-month fellowship through Aug. 11 at 11:59 p.m. The program is part of a community action research project—a collaboration among Case Western Reserve University, Neighborhood Connections and The FARE Project—testing ways to transform food systems through community initiatives. Along with a $1,500 stipend per person (paid over five months), the fellowship provides training, mentoring and coaching support to a team of two grassroots leaders working toward food justice in their communities.
The goals of the fellowship are to:
- Grow your team’s vision for food justice,
- Create a community action plan,
- Expand your team’s leadership capacity, and
- Build your team’s network of supporters.
