Office of Interprofessional and Interdisciplinary Education and Research to launch Tuesday Connections

Beginning in January, the Office of Interprofessional and Interdisciplinary Education and Research will host Tuesday Connections, a weekly series to build community among the schools in the Health Education Campus, across Case Western Reserve University, with our neighbors in Cleveland and among partners in our networks.

The series will take place Tuesday around noon; participants are welcome to bring lunch.

The opportunities will vary by week:

First Tuesdays: Collaborative Practice Journal Club

Noon–1 p.m.

Facilitated discussion about a journal article related to collaboration, human interactions and working together—the specific article will be shared several weeks before each event. Club will meet in the Health Education Campus Samson Pavilion, Room 139 and via Zoom.

Second Tuesdays: Connect through Play

11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.

Take a break to connect with others through games, creative opportunities or other fun activities. Events will take place in the Health Education Campus Samson Pavilion Courtyard.

Third Tuesdays: Themed Conversations

Noon–1 p.m.

On the third Tuesday of every month, participants will enjoy a facilitated discussion on different themes that will help build community. Themed conversations will take place in the Health Education Campus Samson Pavilion Courtyard.

Fourth Tuesdays: Connecting Book Club

Noon–1 p.m.

Dive into a lively conversation about a book (one book will be discussed for two months). The first book selection will be The Art of Gathering by Priya Parker. The discussion will take place in Health Education Campus Samson Pavilion room 139 or via Zoom.
