The April Swetland Center for Environmental Health seminar, “Social Determinants and the Opioid Epidemic in Ohio,” will be held remotely on April 27 from 9 to 10 a.m. Elisabeth Root, a faculty affiliate of the Translational Data Analytics Institute and a professor with a joint appointment in the Department of Geography and Division of Epidemiology at The Ohio State University, will discuss some of the research from the HEALing Communities Study, which explores the impact of community-level social determinants of health on a variety of opioid-related outcomes.
