Take part in research survey on technical standards

Have you ever pondered the importance of technical standards? Why do we call 12 inches a "foot"? How did railroad lines from the east connect to railroad lines from the west when they were different dimensions?

The need for exposure to technical standards is critical for new graduates, regardless of occupation. A Case Western Reserve student is teaming up with colleagues from across the nation to research exposure to technical standards, academic experience teaching technical standards and industry demand for technical standards knowledge.
