The Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee is hosting a hybrid book club discussion for all students, faculty, and staff. They will be reading The Undocumented Americans by Karla Cornejo Villavicencio.
Villavicencio is an Ecuadorian-American writer and was one of the first undocumented students to be accepted into Harvard University, from which she graduate in 2011. In her book, she writes about her personal experiences as a Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipient and the hidden lives of undocumented Americans
The book club will meet twice, on Oct. 28 and Nov. 19, at 1 p.m., to discuss the book. The meetings will be hosted both virtual and in-person in Samson Pavilion, Room 139.
Please join us in person or register for the virtual meeting sessions.
